Men Elite race info
Course
On Wednesday 8 April, Terneuzen will be the starting point for the oldest Flemish spring classic. At the beginning of the race, the course winds its way along the Ooster- and Westerschelde. The dykes and accompanying wind will not only provide beautiful pictures, but also ensure a tough race. Near Essen, the peloton crosses the Belgian border and the riders prepare for three local laps each of 17 km in and around Schoten. Will we witness royal sprints on Churchilllaan again?
Start: Stadhuisplein in Terneuzen – 13:00
Finish: Churchilllaan in Schoten – around 17:11
Distance: 202,7 km
Results 2025
European champion Tim Merlier has won the Scheldeprijs for the second year in a row. The Belgian was clearly the strongest in the sprint, beating Jasper Philipsen and Matteo Moschetti.
